You can expect to pay anywhere from $800-$1,500 per day, per investigator, for an investigation. A basic cheating spouse investigation or a basic workers' compensation fraud investigation would be at the low end, whereas a highly specialized investigation would be at the high end. Most investigations are priced at $100/hour, and $0.51/mile (IRS standard rate). We do offer a volume discount rate for all of our services. Q.: Are you licensed and insured? A.: We are licensed through the states of Illinois and Indiana, and we carry $1,000,000 of general liability insurance in all fifty states.
