FAQs

Q?

Do you collect a retainer?

A.

We estimate what the total cost of the case will be.  We then require the estimate payment (retainer) up front via a credit card or cash/check.  Once the check clears, or we receive the total amount, we will begin working on your case (after the contract is signed).  We require a signed contract which explains the process to you as well as sets reasonable expectations.

If you no longer want to continue with the case at any point, we will refund you whatever retainer is left after our hours worked, etc., are subtracted from that amount.  Also, if we finish the case without using the whole retainer amount, you will be refunded the difference.  We will have a very frank discussion with you on what results you can expect from our investigation.

For workers' compensation fraud investigations, we do not require a retainer nor a signed contract.

Q?

How much do your services cost?

A.

You can expect to pay around $1,000 per day total, per investigator, for an investigation.  Most investigations are priced at $100/hour, and $0.58/mile (IRS standard rate).  We do offer a volume discount rate for all of our services.  If you have a requirement for our investigator to be armed or perform executive protection duties, the rate is $150/hour and $0.58/mile.

For workers' compensation fraud investigations our hourly rate is $75/hour and $0.58/mile.  You can expect to pay around $800 per day total.
